Description

You will develop BMC firmware and software for X86 and ARM platforms, focusing on AST2600 and AST2500 chips.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop BMC firmware and software for AST2600 and AST2500 chips.
• Build and deploy Linux images across various distributions and packages.
• Implement low-level protocols and drivers for hardware communication.
• Perform thorough code reviews for Linux user-space and system programs.
• Debug complex system management issues using structured methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system management software development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Bash, and Python.
• Experience with Blade and Rack server platforms.
• Deep understanding of REST architecture, JSON over HTTPS, and OAuth.
• Knowledge of IPMI, KCS, DMTF, and Redfish standards.
• Hands-on experience with I2C, JTAG, SPI, and UART protocols.
• Experience with Linux kernel programming and driver development.
• Strong grasp of Linux OS fundamentals and upgrade mechanisms.
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
