Description

Design, develop, test, debug, and document the BMC stack for server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Server BMC.
• Collaborate in planning calls and status meetings to align on technical requirements.
• Debug source code and manage work priorities through technical trade-offs.
• Document the BMC stack and associated technical processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on firmware development experience.
• 2+ years of experience using GNU C and C++.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux operating systems.
• 5+ years of experience with scripting in BASH or Python.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, including forking, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Experience with source code debugging and reading schematics.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SPI, I2C, PMBus, and networking.
• Experience with hardware monitoring and debugging using oscilloscopes and Beagle tools.
• Hands-on knowledge of systems management protocols including Redfish, IPMI, and HTTPS.
