Description

You will develop, debug, and test BMC firmware for embedded solutions on x86 based SoC management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and test BMC firmware in collaboration with architects for embedded solutions.
• Enhance and optimize BMC firmware to improve performance, reliability, and remote management capabilities.
• Investigate and resolve firmware issues using debugging tools and cross-team collaboration to find root causes.
• Create and maintain firmware documentation, including specifications, design documents, and release notes.
• Collaborate with validation teams to develop test plans and conduct firmware testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience in BMC firmware development for side-band/out-of-band server management.
• Mandatory experience in OpenBMC stack development.
• Proficiency in C Programming and Embedded Systems.
• Experience with Redfish and PLDM protocols.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, specifically Python and Bash.
• Proficiency with version control systems, including Git.
• Understanding of Computer Architecture.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
