Description

You will develop, debug, and test BMC firmware for embedded solutions on x86-based SoC management platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug BMC firmware for side-band and out-of-band server management.
• Enhance and optimize firmware to improve performance, reliability, and remote management capabilities.
• Investigate and resolve firmware issues using debugging tools and cross-team collaboration.
• Create and maintain firmware documentation, including specifications, design documents, and release notes.
• Collaborate with validation teams to develop test plans and conduct firmware testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience in BMC firmware development.
• Mandatory experience with the OpenBMC stack.
• Proficiency in C programming and embedded systems.
• Experience with Redfish and PLDM protocols.
• Familiarity with Python and Bash scripting.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
