Description

Design, develop, and support hybrid Service Management IT solutions using the BMC Remedy ARS platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customise, and develop bespoke Remedy ARS platform and Atrium CMDB components.
• Produce detailed functional designs for hybrid Service Management solutions based on business requirements and security obligations.
• Conduct peer reviews of code, configuration, and documentation to ensure industry standards are met.
• Support quality assurance cycles including unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Perform direct fault fixes and provide subject matter expertise to support partners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and integration.
• Extensive experience with BMC Remedy ARS (V8+).
• Proficiency in REST API and Atrium Integrator configuration.
• Strong SQL skills across RDBMS technologies including Oracle and MS SQLServer.
• Experience with Remedy workflow development and 3rd party tool integration.
• Proficient in Windows and Unix OS, including command line and shell scripting.
• Experience using Jira for development and delivery management.
• Ability to troubleshoot BMC CMDB data normalization and reconciliation issues.
• Proven experience working within Waterfall or Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Practical knowledge of BMC Helix ITSM or BMC Helix Digital Workplace.
• Experience with BMC Atrium/Helix CMDB.
