Description

You maintain, repair, and upgrade broadcast equipment, IT systems, and on-air workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support station IT operations and LAN infrastructure, including network hardware and software installation.
• Maintain on-air systems, news production workflows, and broadcast equipment.
• Provide user support for Windows workstations, managing software installations, feature updates, and OS upgrades.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform cabling tasks, and document procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting broadcast or IT equipment.
• Knowledge of electronics and component repair.
• Proficiency with IT systems, infrastructure, and LAN/network hardware and software.
• Understanding of computer systems and basic IP networking.
• Ability to manage software installations and operating system upgrades.
• Experience with both hardware and software support.

Preferred Skills

• Higher education in technology or SBE certification.
• Related military experience.
