Description

Design Android customization solutions and manage the full AOSP build environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect Android customization solutions based on high-level requirements.
• Set up and own the AOSP build environment and configuration management.
• Execute customized board bring-up with updated PIN configurations.
• Maintain high-quality design documentation, reviews, and test results.
• Ensure software development processes comply with IEC 62304 standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android System image customization and AOSP development.
• Hands-on BSP development on Android and Linux Operating Systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Shell Scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Device tree and NXP IMX processor firmware development.
• Experience with Yocto Project build environments and Make tools.
• Deep understanding of connectivity protocols including WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB, and UART.
• Knowledge of SELinux rules, application security, signing, permissions, and Keystore.
• Experience with device driver debugging and Android/Application upgrades.
• Proficiency with Git, Repo, and SVN version control.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS).
