Description

You will own the build infrastructure and release pipeline for complex development environments. Your primary focus is maintaining build farms, resolving build issues, and ensuring efficient code compilation.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain Bazel BUILD files and build rules for large-scale projects.
• Manage and maintain complex build-farms and build infrastructure on Linux/Unix systems.
• Debug and resolve build failures using monitoring tools like Splunk and Grafana.
• Support developers by optimizing build processes and addressing infrastructure issues.
• Handle Linux system administration tasks and manage virtual machines.

Required Skills

• 3-7 years of experience in Build Developer or Support roles.
• In-depth knowledge of Bazel build tooling and ability to write efficient BUILD files.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and system administration.
• Strong debugging skills for diagnosing complex build issues.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
• Proficiency in programming languages; Perl and/or Ruby experience is a plus.
• Understanding of Makefiles is advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to BuildBuddy for Bazel build optimization.
