Description

You will manage the build and release lifecycle for an enterprise Identity and Access system.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage development and production environments.
• Own the release cycle, including packaging, installing, and moving code from development through to production.
• Create and maintain automated CI build processes and continuous integration infrastructure.
• Write build and deployment scripts to improve configuration management tools and processes.
• Train and support developers on source control, merge resolution, and deployment automation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Build and Release Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, SVN, Bitbucket, Sonar, Jira, Confluence, and Fisheye/Crucible.
• Proficiency in CI/CD rollouts throughout the SDLC, including production transitions.
• Expertise in source code control management, configuration management, and branching/merging strategies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Agile Lifecycle Management tools.
• Practical knowledge of application build, deployment, and release management.
• Understanding of Agile software development methods.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Security, and Compliance requirements.
• Experience with software and data engineering development lifecycles.
