Description

• We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering and business process analysis for the modernization of a legacy VB.NET application to a Java Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Cognos reporting platform.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and manage business, functional, and reporting requirements.
• Analyze existing VB.NET application workflows and translate them into future-state requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and architects throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Define user stories, business process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborating on the migration of Crystal Reports to Cognos BI reports.
• Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder reviews.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience in enterprise application development projects.
• Experience with application modernization or migration initiatives.
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and documentation.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
