Description

Act as a Business Analyst and Product Owner for HHSC-IT Administrative Applications. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, including BRDs and user stories.
• Evaluate business systems and user needs to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
• Perform business process reengineering to identify technology applications that improve effectiveness.
• Prepare solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses including ROI and cost/benefit studies.
• Coordinate with technical teams to manage demos, UAT, code releases, and user communications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years serving as a liaison between business communities and IT teams.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong data analysis skills for processing raw data.
• Proficiency in business process mapping and reengineering.
• Ability to write detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions.
• Experience with Architecture, Project Delivery, and Application Sustain.

Preferred Skills

• Project management experience with PMP certification.
