Description

You will support the Michigan Department of Education by managing project and compliance documentation for complex IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete System Security Plans (SSP) by collaborating with business clients, internal staff, and IT liaisons to analyze security controls.
• Build, test, and validate IT Disaster Recovery Plans and Business Continuity Plans.
• Create and maintain SUITE documentation to support the system development life cycle.
• Produce oral and written reports, presentations, and project documentation to communicate work assignments.
• Act as a liaison between different business and IT functional areas.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst supporting software development projects.
• 3+ years of exposure to complex IT web applications within the last 5 years.
• 5+ years of experience leading meetings and delivering professional reports and presentations.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with MS Office for creating technical and project documentation.
• Experience working in a professional office environment.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Lansing, MI, requiring onsite presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of System Security Standards, including NIST, FedRAMP, or SOC2.
