Description

You will act as a key member of the Enterprise Data Asset team, supporting Agile sprints to move datasets into a cloud-based data management platform.

Responsibilities

• Analyze source systems containing spatial components to profile data, identify conflicts, and determine resolutions.
• Perform entity resolution to manage matching, merging, and semantic conflicts.
• Elicit, record, and manage metadata while documenting business processes through flow, context, and data flow diagrams.
• Decompose requirements into Epics and Features, creating concise user stories and acceptance criteria for technical staff.
• Manage the product backlog in coordination with the Product Owner and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Execute Quality Analyst functions, including defining test objectives, plans, and test cases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience delivering business data analysis artifacts.
• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum methodology.
• Advanced SQL scripting skills for complex queries in SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and Esri ArcGIS.
• Experience with enterprise data management and reporting systems such as data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
• Proven ability to translate product strategy into dataset requirements and user stories.
• Strong ability to create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
• Certified Data Management Professional.
