Description

Lead business data analysis and requirements engineering to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and source system datasets to identify pain points and data lifecycle requirements.
• Profile source data, including spatial components, and perform entity resolution to resolve semantic conflicts.
• Decompose requirements into Epics, Features, and user stories while mapping them to data models and architectures.
• Execute Quality Analyst functions by defining test objectives, plans, and test cases, and facilitating User Acceptance Testing.
• Create conceptual prototypes, mock-ups, and process diagrams including context and data flow diagrams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience delivering business data analysis artifacts.
• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum.
• Exceptional experience writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with enterprise data management and reporting systems such as data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
• Proficiency with Azure Databricks and ESRI ArcGIS.
• Experience managing product and sprint backlogs and defining acceptance criteria.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project Server.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
