Description

You will own the analysis, design, and documentation of business systems and reporting solutions, operating with significant autonomy and creative latitude.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate business systems and user needs to formulate solutions that align with overall business strategies.
• Document detailed user needs, program functions, and development steps for modifying computer programs.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for reporting and data warehouse work, including knowledge transfer to the Enterprise Reporting Team.
• Develop solution options, identify risks, and perform financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build decisions.
• Assist in the deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms while supporting business warehouse enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
• Proficiency in business process mapping, reengineering, and identifying technology applications for business problems.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, client-server architectures, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience preparing Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting systems.
• Ability to conduct financial analyses including cost/benefit and ROI evaluations.
• Familiarity with legacy, core, and emerging technologies within the industry standard.
• Experience developing RFPs and managing end-user reporting tool platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working directly with IT and business project teams to define reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of advanced business intelligence support and enhancement methodologies.
