Job Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong Agile/Scrum experience combined with BA responsibilities and some QA exposure. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience with Jira, Salesforce Service Cloud (CRM), and Agile/Waterfall methodologies. This role requires strong facilitation skills, requirement elicitation, testing support, and the ability to lead Agile ceremonies while ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Agile & Scrum Facilitation
Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and capacity planning.
Maintain Jira dashboards, track progress, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Promote Agile maturity and continuous improvement within the team.
Business Analysis
Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Translate requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Manage product backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with IT leadership on project planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
Quality Assurance & UAT
Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Write test cases, define test scenarios, and manage defect tracking and resolution.
Ensure high-quality deliverables and smooth deployment of solutions.
Training, Documentation & Support
Provide training to end-users and create supporting documentation (user manuals, technical specifications).
Support post-implementation adoption and troubleshoot issues.
Work with training leads to deliver onboarding and training materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with Agile/Scrum project leadership.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Hands-on expertise in JIRA, Confluence, and M365 Suite (dashboards, reporting, workflows).
Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud (CRM) or similar CRM platforms.
Excellent facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) preferred.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Salesforce implementation knowledge.
Experience in nonprofit or philanthropic organizations.
Familiarity with IT governance and cross-team coordination frameworks
