Description

Analyze data processing problems and user requirements to automate or improve existing computer systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze science, engineering, and business data processing problems to implement system improvements.
• Evaluate user requirements, procedures, and workflows to identify automation opportunities.
• Review computer system capabilities, scheduling limitations, and workflow efficiency.
• Develop technical solutions to business problems using Java, Oracle, and SQL.
• Document and analyze technical requirements for system implementation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Java.
• Experience with Oracle database servers.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Background as an IT Analyst, Developer, Programmer, or IT Engineer.
• Experience using business analysis to automate computer systems.
• Ability to travel to and relocate to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computers, IT, IS, Business, Engineering, or a closely related field with 6 months of experience.
• OR a Bachelor's degree in those fields with 5 years of progressive experience.
