Description

You will serve as a technical Business Analyst focused on data modeling and data flow for software development projects.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interactive sessions with business and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design technology specifications.
• Perform hands-on requirements elicitation, client management, and technical documentation including use cases, prototyping, and traceability.
• Assess production support issues related to system and data bridges to determine root cause and document necessary corrections.
• Define functional design and systems specifications, preparing and reviewing completed packages.
• Guide business and functional units through user acceptance testing, training, and implementation activities.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in business analysis with a focus on data modeling and data flow.
• 4 years of experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, .Net development environments, Azure DevOps, and Oracle.
• Expertise in technical writing and preparing data model and data flow documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and prototyping/screen mock-up tools such as Visio and Snagit.
• Strong experience in assessing data bridges and solving business-related system or data errors.
• Proven ability in requirements elicitation and managing technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with mainframe environments, hierarchical databases, Informatica, MuleSoft, COBOL, Java, Salesforce, Snowflake, and GoAnywhere.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry or compliance and enforcement projects.
