Description

You will lead the migration of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes from Team Foundation Server (TFS) to Jira within the healthcare domain.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current TFS setups, including workflows, customizations, and integrations, to develop a migration strategy and risk mitigation plan.
• Map TFS data structures to Jira, including work items, backlogs, sprints, and user stories, using scripts or migration tools to ensure data integrity.
• Configure Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, automation rules, and dashboards to meet organizational requirements.
• Integrate Jira with existing tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct team training sessions and develop documentation to support smooth adoption post-migration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ALM processes and migrations.
• Direct experience migrating from TFS to Jira.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience using migration tools like OpsHub or custom APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, TFS, and ALM frameworks.
• Technical familiarity with Confluence and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on Jira configuration and administration.
• Experience integrating Jira with the Atlassian suite, including Bitbucket or Bamboo.
• Experience migrating complex workflows, dependencies, and historical data.
