•Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to monitor warranty claims, defect rates, current and long term quality issues and high cost drivers
•Collaborate with warranty analysts and quality engineers to understand data needs and design visualizations that highlight key trends and insights
•Transform raw warranty and quality data (e.G., repair orders, part failure rates) into clear, actionable visuals for team reviews and management reports
•Ensure data accuracy by performing basic cleaning and validation tasks on datasets from warranty databases
•Update dashboards regularly to reflect new data inputs, such as monthly warranty claims or field quality audits.
•Assist in presenting visualized insights to non-technical stakeholders, such as quality managers or service teams, in a simple and impactful way.
•Support ad-hoc reporting requests, such as visualizing trends in specific vehicle models or regions.
•Document dashboard designs and data sources to ensure consistency and ease of use for the team.
Field Reporting (30%)
•Support data analysts with reporting within VW Technical Service using traditional reporting methods
•Maintain data integrity and ongoing quality control of monthly, quarterly and annual quality reports for upper management
•Quickly and accurately gather, prepare data upon request from management
Education
Required
•Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Desired
•Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline

•Familiarity with interpreting numerical data, such as percentages, counts, or time-series trends.
Desired:
•Exposure to automotive industry data (e.G., warranty claims, parts inventory) or basic statistics knowledge.
•Knowledge of German and/or Spanish languages
