Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation activities for modernization initiatives
Analyze legacy applications, workflows, and databases to document current-state functionality
Translate existing system behavior into detailed functional and technical requirements for modern web-based applications
Conduct gap analysis between current and future-state systems
Collaborate with development, architecture, and database teams to support solution design and implementation
Support project planning, milestone tracking, issue management, and risk identification
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, walkthroughs, and sign-off sessions
Provide support to QA and development teams during implementation and testing phases
Prepare clear, complete, and testable business and functional requirements documentation
Identify compliance, process, and system improvement opportunities
Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks to leadership and stakeholders
Work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of experience in legacy system analysis and modernization projects
12+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
12+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
12+ years of experience translating legacy application functionality into modern web-based requirements
12+ years of experience in stakeholder management, communication, and coordination
Strong experience analyzing SQL-based data models and system integrations
Experience reviewing workflows and identifying modernization opportunities
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Ability to create detailed and testable requirements documentation
Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams
Ability to identify system gaps and recommend practical solutions
Experience adapting to evolving technical requirements and project priorities

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
12+ years of experience in Business Analyst or PM/BA roles
8+ years of experience converting legacy applications to modern web-based solutions
8+ years of experience working with .NET development teams and SQL databases
8+ years of experience with project management methodologies
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or regulated environment projects
PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or similar certifications preferred
