Description

You lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for modernization initiatives, translating legacy systems into detailed functional and technical requirements for modern web-based applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy applications, workflows, and databases to document current-state functionality and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and future-state systems to support solution design and implementation.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, and database teams to define practical solutions and manage project milestones.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and sign-off sessions while communicating status and risks to leadership.
• Prepare clear, complete, and testable business and functional requirements documentation to support QA and development.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in legacy system analysis and modernization projects.
• 12+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• 12+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong experience analyzing SQL-based data models and system integrations.
• Experience translating legacy application functionality into modern web-based requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to identify system gaps and recommend practical solutions in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of experience converting legacy applications to modern web-based solutions.
• 8+ years of experience working with .NET development teams and SQL databases.
• PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or similar certifications preferred.
