Description

You will lead business analysis for enterprise-level Medicaid IT initiatives in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate current business methods and procedures to drive operational efficiency and service delivery improvements.
• Lead or contribute to large-scale digital transformation and business process reengineering projects.
• Apply MITA frameworks and conduct State Self-Assessments (SS-A) within complex system environments.
• Create detailed business models using BPMN, UML, and ArchiMate to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Negotiate, facilitate, and resolve conflicts while driving measurable improvements across technical and non-technical groups.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of progressive experience in a Business Data Analyst role or similar strategic capacity.
• Expert proficiency in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Unified Modeling Language (UML), and ArchiMate.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, specifically TOGAF.
• Demonstrable expertise with MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture).
• Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) integrated eligibility systems (Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, CHIP).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, TOGAF, or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
