You will bridge the gap between customer needs and technical execution by translating complex requirements into actionable documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements through direct customer interviews and document them in formal system requirement documents.
• Develop user stories and use cases following established business analysis best practices.
• Design wireframes and mockups that adhere to UX standards.
• Perform business process re-engineering to improve software process flows.
• Manage requirements and issues within specialized tracking software.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis.
• Proven experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency.
• Hands-on experience with TEA applications including FSP, TSDS, or TEA Help Desk.
• Proficiency with Modern Requirements management software.
• Expertise using Atlassian Jira for issue tracking.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated ability in technical writing, organization, and facilitation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
