You translate business needs into technical specifications and process improvements throughout the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews to elicit, gather, and validate business requirements.
• Develop clear, concise, and testable system requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Design mockup and wireframe assets following UX best practices.
• Analyze and re-engineer business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are met throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience eliciting requirements via customer interviews and writing system requirements.
• 8+ years of experience working within software development life cycles (SDLC).
• 8+ years of experience in business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement.
• 8+ years of experience developing user stories and use cases.
• 8+ years of experience designing mockups and wireframes using UX best practices.
• 5+ years of experience in communication and facilitation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Modern Requirements or Atlassian Jira.
• 2+ years of experience working with TEA or other state/local education agencies.
• 1+ year of experience with the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program.
