You will elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements to improve systems and automate processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements using JAD, interviews, surveys, and workflow analysis to identify pain points and system capabilities.
• Translate findings into user stories, use cases, and software requirements specifications using clear, unambiguous language.
• Design wireframes and mockups that align with UX best practices.
• Manage the change control process and track requirements status using TEA tools like Jira and Modern Requirements.
• Mentor peers on business analysis best practices and SDLC participation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience eliciting requirements through customer interviews.
• 8+ years of experience with software development life cycles (SDLC).
• 8+ years of experience in business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement.
• 8+ years of experience developing user stories and use cases following business analysis best practices.
• 8+ years of experience designing mockups and wireframes conforming to UX standards.
• 5+ years of demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills.
• 5+ years of demonstrated strong writing and organization skills.
• 2+ years of documented work experience with Atlassian Jira.
• 2+ years of documented work experience with Modern Requirements software.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of documented experience working for or closely with TEA, a federal/state/local education agency, or an educational vendor.
