Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business systems, processes, and user requirements.
• Gather, validate, and manage business and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform business process analysis, mapping, and reengineering to drive efficiency improvements.
• Develop solution recommendations, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Create comprehensive business, functional, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of Texas Vital Statistics laws, policies, and regulations.
• Proven experience with business analysis methodologies and requirements management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• Experience analyzing complex business systems, IT applications, and operational processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting government or public sector initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise application modernization projects.
