Own the investigation and resolution of complex investment data discrepancies, ensuring business acceptance and accurate reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users to interpret data issues and validate outputs against business requirements.
• Investigate missing transactions, data mismatches, and quality rule violations across Snowflake, Aladdin, EDM, and reporting platforms.
• Translate business problems into technical investigation inputs and support prioritization and SLA alignment.
• Mentor junior analysts, provide domain guidance, and maintain documentation and runbooks.
• Track tickets through the end-to-end lifecycle and escalate complex issues to L3 Data Engineering and Platform teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with 5–7 years preferably within the Investment domain.
• Strong knowledge of the investment domain, including the trade lifecycle (trade → processing → reporting).
• Understanding of securities and identifiers (CUSIP, ISIN, ratings, attributes) and portfolio/position concepts.
• Ability to perform data reconciliation across systems (Aladdin, Snowflake, reports) and interpret financial metrics (yield, spread, duration, price, market value, P/L).
• Familiarity with data flows and reporting impact on business users.
• Experience working closely with data teams, analytics teams, and Data Engineering.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience supporting complex issue resolution and escalation discussions.
• Ability to identify patterns and recurring issues to improve data quality.
