Description

You will own the data integration, interoperability, and business analysis for healthcare systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage ELT processes, SQL queries, and JSON transformations to ensure data quality and reliable delivery across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Partner with architects to translate business requirements into actionable data specifications, API requirements, and process workflows.
• Perform detailed mapping of source data to FHIR R4 resources and validate transactions using Postman and custom frameworks.
• Conduct end-to-end validation of ELT pipelines and cross-system data reconciliation to support automated and manual testing.
• Develop comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, mapping documents, and business rules for governance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong exposure to data engineering, APIs, or healthcare data systems.
• Strong knowledge of ELT processes, SQL, JSON, and API design principles.
• Hands-on understanding of FHIR R4, HL7 standards, and healthcare data types (claims, clinical, member, provider).
• Experience with data mapping, transformation logic, and source-to-target specifications.
• Proficiency in Postman for API testing and validation.
• Experience with Kafka and managed connectors for streaming data.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field; Master's preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with SmileCDR, HAPI FHIR, or similar interoperability platforms.
• Industry knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability, Patient Access API, PDex, and payer-to-payer exchange requirements.
