Description

Act as the liaison between business and technology teams to manage regulatory and business requirements. Analyze and document business and data requirements for regulatory reporting. Consult with internal groups on process improvement projects to drive business results. Evaluate regulatory implications of on and off-balance sheet activities. Perform financial modeling and data analysis related to Asset Liability Management and Credit Risk.

• Define and document requirements through strong written and verbal communication.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or modeling for ALM, Treasury Management, Credit Risk, or Basel III.
• Subject matter expertise in Asset Liability Management at financial institutions.
• Working knowledge of Basel III and capital regulations for U.S. Banks.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for data analysis in Oracle and Teradata databases.
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Oracle BI.
• Knowledge of banking products including Credit, ALM, and Treasury.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, FR2590, and Basel III requirements.
• Knowledge of asset classes such as Commercial/Retail loans, Derivatives, Securitized Assets, and Equity.
• Masters in Finance, CFA, or Certified Treasury Professional.
