Description

Own the liaison role between business and technology teams to manage regulatory and business requirements for financial institutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business and data requirements for regulatory reporting.
• Perform financial modeling and data analysis for Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Credit Risk.
• Evaluate regulatory implications of on and off-balance sheet activities.
• Consult with internal groups on process improvement projects to drive business results.
• Define and document requirements using strong written and verbal communication.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or modeling for ALM, Treasury Management, Credit Risk, or Basel III.
• Subject matter expertise in Asset Liability Management at financial institutions.
• Working knowledge of Basel III and capital regulations for U.S. Banks.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for data analysis in Oracle and Teradata databases.
• Proficiency in Excel and exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Oracle BI.
• Knowledge of banking products including Credit, ALM, and Treasury.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, FR2590, and Basel III requirements.
• Knowledge of asset classes such as Commercial/Retail loans, Derivatives, Securitized Assets, and Equity.
• Masters in Finance, CFA, or Certified Treasury Professional.
