Description

You will act as a liaison between business functions and the IT organization to align technology solutions with business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, document, and refine business requirements for the IT organization.
  • Identify and resolve business problems by leveraging technical knowledge of business areas.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract and validate data from databases.
  • Perform data cleansing and analysis on raw data using ETL and data mining techniques.
  • Communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience aligning technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries within Oracle, SAS, and Teradata.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL, reporting, and data mining processes.
  • Working knowledge of HIX, EMR, and EHR data collection types.
  • Understanding of NCQA HEDIS quality measures and code value sets.
  • Advanced use of MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to support partner relationships between health plans and provider/vendor communities.
  • Ability to perform independent troubleshooting and self-directed learning.
