Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders (Loan Operations, LOB, IT) to gather, analyze, and document requirements for LOS enhancements.
Translate business requirements into BRD, FRD, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Analyze end-to-end loan origination lifecycle including application intake, credit assessment, underwriting, closing, and post-closing processes.
Configure and support LOS platforms (Encompass/PowerLender) including workflows, forms, rules, and integrations.
Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis for system enhancements and production issues.
Act as a liaison between business, technology, QA, and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery and testing.
Support UAT planning and execution, including test scenarios, defect tracking, and business validation.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance loan processing efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
Required Skills & Experience
5–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking / Mortgage domain.
Strong hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as Encompass, PowerLender, or similar.
Deep understanding of mortgage lifecycle and loan processing workflows.
Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Visio, SQL, Excel.
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
