You will analyze and document requirements for Loan Origination System (LOS) enhancements, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze end-to-end loan origination lifecycles, including application intake, underwriting, and closing.
• Configure and support LOS platforms (Encompass/PowerLender), managing workflows, forms, rules, and integrations.
• Perform gap, impact, and root cause analysis for system enhancements and production issues.
• Support UAT planning, test scenario creation, and business validation while driving process automation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking or Mortgage domains.
• Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass or PowerLender.
• Deep understanding of mortgage lifecycle and loan processing workflows.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Azure DevOps, Visio, SQL, and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
