Description

You will design scalable data solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring reliable data delivery through robust engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures for gathering, storing, processing, and serving data.
• Translate line-of-business requirements into detailed functional designs and technical specifications.
• Develop and execute SQL scripts for ETL processes and comprehensive data testing.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, self-service build tools, and automated deployment workflows.
• Provide troubleshooting and on-call support for critical data platform incidents while defining test acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of professional experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in DataStage for ETL development.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool).
• Experience working with Snowflake data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to engineering teams and business needs to stakeholders.
• Experience within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and release management protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Capital Markets or Financial Services.
• Conceptual understanding of Big Data technologies, metadata management, or REST API design.
