Description

Support multiple projects within the Health and Human Services EDBI data warehouse group, focusing on Elias reports, Iowa Medicaid Enterprise, and upcoming pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements, write user stories and design documents, and define acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, developers, and project teams.
• Test project outcomes and manage stakeholder expectations and priorities.
• Operate within established project governance structures using required templates and reporting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience working on large, complex IT systems.
• 8+ years of experience with SDLC procedures and system development methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft development platforms and software.
• 8+ years of experience in task management and prioritizing multiple projects.
• 6+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
• 5+ years of experience with ALM tools such as TFS, VSTS, Azure DevOps, Jira, or RTC.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio or other relational database software.
• 3+ years of experience with data modeling standards, architecture design, and information management practices.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
