You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to define and document requirements for Iowa systems and programs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and trace business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria within defined systems.
• Analyze business processes and recommend solutions for redesigning products, services, or processing methods.
• Guide customers through business case development, including cost/benefit and risk/impact analyses.
• Create and execute test plans while verifying requirements for completeness, consistency, and feasibility.
• Collaborate with decision makers, system owners, and end users to support core business objectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, requirements definition, and software delivery.
• Experience working within an Agile methodology framework.
• Proficiency with requirement gathering tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, TFS, or Rational Team Concert (RTC).
• Strong background in process mapping, group facilitation, and data gathering.
• Expertise in documenting use cases, design documents, and business process definitions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with executives and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience identifying opportunities for test automation.
