Description

You will gather, document, and translate business requirements into system specifications for Iowa applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documents in defined systems.
• Document, trace, and prioritize changes to business practices, workflows, and system processes.
• Analyze problems and determine solutions through process redesign or procedure changes.
• Update project statuses, risks, issues, and timelines for reporting.
• Guide stakeholder business case development and translate objectives into system requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years experience on large, complex IT systems.
• 8+ years eliciting requirements, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
• 8+ years experience with SDLC procedures and system development methodologies.
• 8+ years managing stakeholder expectations and priorities.
• 8+ years working within project governance structures, including templates and reporting.
• 8+ years excellent task management skills to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• 8+ years experience with Microsoft development platforms and software.
• 6+ years experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira, or RTC.
