Description

You will lead business analysis for Life and P&C Insurance implementations, bridging the gap between IT and business teams across the Indian market.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document detailed functional, UI, and product requirements for Policy Administration, Rating, Underwriting, Claims, and Reinsurance modules.
• Configure rating logic and business rules, ensuring alignment with established insurance software products or custom solutions.
• Perform functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and track defects to closure during development and pre-deployment phases.
• Conduct impact analysis for scope changes and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Provide technical walkthroughs, review test cases, and deliver knowledge transfer to development and QA teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, with deep expertise in Life or Commercial Lines Insurance domains.
• Proven track record in implementing business features for Indian insurance markets.
• Strong ability to configure business rules and rating logic within insurance platforms.
• Experience in full-cycle software implementation, from requirement gathering to UAT and deployment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, adjust to flexible timings, and meet aggressive targets.
• Proficiency in impact analysis, risk assessment, and change management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with specific Life Insurance software products.
• Background in Project Development activities within insurance technology.
