Analyze consumer software metrics to drive product improvements through data-driven insights.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of new software features.
• Analyze clickstream, usage, and engagement data to uncover the "why" behind the numbers.
• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to specify requirements and analyze results.
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Extract and manipulate value from large, disconnected datasets to support decision-making.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst in consumer products or technology.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python.
• Experience using Tableau and PowerBI.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
• Solid understanding of big data analytic solutions, including data lakes and advanced analytics.
• Experience with data profiling and traditional BI tools.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Demonstrated experience in processing and extracting insights from large datasets.

Preferred Skills

• Background in mathematics, statistics, design of experiments, or survey methodology.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Redshift, EMR) and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
