Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Mid-Level Business Analyst to join their team in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements gathering, process improvement, and stakeholder management. This role involves working both remotely and on-site as needed, following Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. You'll be a key player in identifying gaps, driving efficiency, and supporting end-to-end business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, SOPs).
• Perform gap analysis, root cause identification, and propose process optimization strategies.
• Create and maintain workflow diagrams and process maps using Visio or similar tools.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for development teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate resolution of issues.
• Maintain critical documentation such as issue logs, change logs, and project plans.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and facilitate stakeholder workshops and status meetings.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in consulting or professional services.
• Experience in legal, compliance, or regulated industries is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in business and systems analysis, requirement writing, and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Visio is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to analyze, organize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
• Familiarity with Business Continuity Planning (BCP) or Crisis Management is a plus.
