Description

You will support all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure software systems and processes meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, define, and document requirements for design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documents within defined systems.
• Trace, prioritize, and assess changes to business practices, workflows, and system processes.
• Conduct data research to analyze problems and determine solutions, such as redesigning products or implementing new processing methods.
• Update project information, statuses, risks, and timelines to support reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Work within an Agile framework to drive projects to completion alongside developers, product owners, and end users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
• Experience delivering software as part of an Agile delivery team.
• Proficiency with ALM tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, VSTS, Jira, or RTC.
• Strong ability to translate business objectives into technical specifications and system requirements.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• Ability to guide stakeholders through business case development, including cost-benefit and impact analysis.
• Experience querying data and using relational tools like Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
• Proven ability to break down complex concepts into small, actionable tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP or Power BI reporting projects.
• Experience providing consulting services to governmental entities.
• CBAP, PMP, or PMI-ACP certifications.
