You will drive data-driven decision-making and regulatory compliance through SQL and statistical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries, views, tables, stored procedures, and scheduled jobs in SQL Server Management Studio.
• Develop automated reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI.
• Create and maintain tabular models using SQL Server Analysis Services for enterprise reporting.
• Perform statistical and spatial analyses using GIS tools to identify trends in utilization and network adequacy.
• Ensure timely production of State of Texas deliverables and compliance with federal legislation and regulations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting roles.
• 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• 3+ years of experience with reporting tools including MS Excel, Access, SQL Reporting Services, or Power BI.
• Working knowledge of healthcare coding including ICD, CPT, and DRG.
• Ability to utilize statistical models to identify performance trends.
• Experience with geographic information system tools such as ArcGIS or Quest Analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree in a quantitative or relevant field.
