Description

You will drive cost optimization efforts for PDM system managers through detailed analysis of IT Cloud data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cost optimization information provided by the IT Cloud team to support PDM system managers.
• Develop implementation plans for right-sizing AWS features and services, including EC2 instance types, EBS drives, and RDS.
• Collaborate with IT Cloud DevOps and system managers to build resource utilization dashboards.
• Generate ad hoc reports to provide visibility into cost optimization and reduction processes.
• Research current and upcoming AWS services to provide guidance on best practices to leadership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the life science sector.
• 3 years of experience working with Amazon AWS.
• Proficiency with EC2 instance types, EBS drives, and RDS.
• Experience working alongside system managers and IT Cloud DevOps teams.
• Strong data analysis skills with a focus on accuracy and summarizing findings.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks under performance standards.
• Bachelor's degree required.
