Description

You will lead business and systems analysis for Newborn Screening and Environmental Health programs in Lansing, MI.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and conduct gap analysis to recommend system improvements.
• Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze end-to-end workflows for specimen tracking, results reporting, and chain of custody.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test plans, scripts, and coordinating stakeholder activities.
• Create training materials and conduct user training sessions for new system features.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in business or systems analysis.
• 8+ years of requirements elicitation and documentation experience.
• 8+ years of process mapping and workflow analysis experience.
• 8+ years of data analysis and problem-solving experience.
• 8+ years of developing and implementing test plans and test cases.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of data integration standards (e.g., HL7, APIs).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Newborn Screening programs and Environmental Health systems.
• Knowledge of public health data systems and reporting requirements.
