Description

You will own the maintenance, support, and enhancement of MIHP, MCIR-EDHI, and other MDHHS applications within the Bureau of Public Health. You will provide application oversight to the business analysis team and ensure SDLC compliance for complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Write high-level functional requirements, gap analysis, and detailed functional design documents.
• Develop user stories, task breakdowns, prototypes, and mockups for stakeholder review.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports for application subsystems.
• Maintain system documentation, training materials, and IT solution standards for State of Michigan technology.
• Assist with UAT, post-implementation testing, defect tracking, and Request for Change (RFC) implementation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of business analysis experience for complex computer systems.
• 8+ years developing functional requirements and systems documentation.
• 8+ years developing and implementing test plans and test cases.
• 5+ years implementing Agile processes, including test-driven development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar requirements and test case tracking applications.
• Proven experience working with HIPAA data and compliance requirements.
• Ability to create flowcharts, screen layouts, and logical system requirement documentation.
• Experience assisting with Enterprise Architecture Solution Assessment (EASA) and firewall rules documentation.
