Description

Act as the bridge between Fund Owners, Operations, Compliance, and IT to drive data-centric transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements through collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Analyze data to identify quality issues, anomalies, and gaps while working with data teams on ingestion requirements.
• Create foundational domain data models and detailed functional specifications, including use cases and user stories.
• Develop test plans and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure data changes align with business needs.
• Ensure all data model enhancements comply with UK regulations and assist in change management and training.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial industry.
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets data, including reference, market, portfolio, asset valuation, and performance data.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Experience using Power BI and databases for data visualization and decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and compliance processes.
• Ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in domain data modeling and functional documentation.
• Background in Fund Management or Fund Owner domains.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with financial instruments and investment strategies.
