You will serve as the liaison between stakeholders to elicit, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business reporting policies and for developing new operational reports and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis of user and business needs, developing business requirements documents to migrate Oracle Portal, Business Area, and Discoverer Workbook functionality to the current Oracle analytical platform.
- Create business documentation, including Business Requirement documents, use cases, swim lanes, and process documentation, detailing BI reporting needs for reports, dashboards, and ad hoc tools.
- Collaborate with Data Warehouse and BI technical teams and Business Owners to create requirement documentation and translate business needs to the technical team for dimensional data model reporting.
- Work with data modelers, ETL developers, and business owners to clarify business rules, prioritize development, and ensure the accurate delivery of end-user reporting requirements.
- Create and execute test scripts, scenarios, and test plans to validate initial requirements and report output across DEV, QA, and PROD migrations.
Required Skills
- 84+ months experience providing guidance to large teams or possessing extensive industry experience in business analysis.
- 84 months data analytical background experience with business intelligence tools to design reports (e.g., OBIEE, SQL, Microsoft Excel) or data analysis business solutions.
- 84 months experience in quality assurance testing of reports, SQL analytics, and Oracle SQL knowledge, including defect management and developing UAT documents.
- 60 months experience soliciting application and report requirements, developing end-user documentation, specifically Business Reporting Requirement Documents (BRDs) and use cases.
- 60 months experience with all phases of support specifications development, including design, testing, and maintenance of reports.
- 60 months experience developing and implementing system and workflow processes in a Business Intelligence environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, information science, computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification by IIBA.
