Description

Act as the liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, validate, and document requirements for business reporting and analytics.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and validate requirements for operational reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analytical tools.
• Create business documentation including BRDs, use cases, swim lanes, process documentation, and wireframes.
• Collaborate with data modelers and ETL developers to translate business rules into dimensional data models.
• Develop and execute test scripts to validate report accuracy across DEV, QA, and PROD environments.
• Provide end-user support and training for staff utilizing analytics tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence tool design, data analysis, or operational report solutions.
• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance testing of reports and SQL analytics.
• 5+ years of experience soliciting requirements and developing BRDs, use cases, and flow diagrams.
• 5+ years of experience in all phases of report specification development, including design, testing, and maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience developing end-user training materials for dashboards and BI applications.
• 5+ years of experience implementing system and workflow processes in a BI environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and SQL analytics.
• Strong knowledge of ETL and data analytical processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification from the IIBA.
