Responsibilities

• Gather and document detailed business requirements for investment banking operations and reference data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in M&A, trading, risk, and compliance to define data needs.
• Conduct current state assessments and recommend improvements for reference data workflows.
• Support data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams for system enhancements and data integration.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Investment Banking and Reference Data Management.
• Strong understanding of investment banking processes, products, and reference data standards (ISO, FpML, SWIFT).
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
• Experience with data visualization tools and MS Office for reporting and documentation.
• Proven ability to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system configuration, and end-user training.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with reference data tools and data governance frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working on large-scale data transformation or data governance initiatives.
